Is There A Tax Refund Waiting To Spruce Up Your Home?

Floor or wall finishing work for a small room? New landscaping or landscaping maintenance services for a few months? New fixtures and cabinetry hardware for your kitchen or bath? Some much needed deferred maintenance service around the home? A new water heater, washer, dryer or mid-priced major appliance?

And, don't forget, the biggest spending season of the year -- Christmas and other fall and winter holidays -- is just around the corner. Admittedly $871 won't go far, but it is $871 more than nothing. Nothing is what more than 84,000 taxpayers due refunds are getting unless they tell Uncle Sam where to send their money.

The Internal Revenue Service announced late last month that it's trying to find homes for income tax refunds totaling approximately $73 million due to 84,290 taxpayers who overpaid their dues in Club America and now can't be found. Click here for the full Realty Times article.
